The only vegetables my 2 yo eats is carrots and sweet potato fries, is the other items in his diet sufficient?
He eats 2-3 servings of fruit per day. He will eat any kind of fruit. He loves fruit! Twice a day I give him watered down V8 fusion juice. It has vegetables in it. He also eats a lot of fortified cereal and organic cereal bars that are fortified. He also loves grilled cheese and cheese quesadillas. He also loves yogurt and pomegranate apple sauce.
I feel like he gets a lot of good stuff but sometimes I worry because the only vegetables he likes are carrots and sweet potato fries. He also only likes chicken nuggets as a meat item.
We don’t feed him any sweets. He doesn’t drink any sodas. He drinks lots of mil and water. Do you think his diet is okay? If not, do you have any suggestions. I cook a lot at home, but he won’t eat anything I cook. Is this normal?
You are fortunate that he eats some of the things he does!
Many children at this age eat almost nothing, or so it seems to us.
